Description:

The “Fairy Wings” UV resin is an acrylic gel that dries in just 4 minutes if exposed to UV (or sunlight) and allows the creation of large-volume reliefs.
Its special formula helps you design beaded and three-dimensional decorations, reliefs and several 3D decorative details.
After complete drying, the 3D parts keep their shape while staying flexible.
With this UV resin, you can easily add ornamental details to your polymer decorations and sculptures, e.g. delicate wings for your fairies!
Any kind of design you will create with this “3D ink” will keep the shape you want, once removed from its mould!

One-component product. Non-toxic and safe. It can be used without special precautions.

Set up time is 3-5 minutes, depending on the power of the UV lamp, the layer thickness or the amount of dyes. We recommend using 9 LEDs UV lamps.

How to use:

1. Prepare a working area using a plastic sheet, a plastic film, a piece of tape or a regular “polyethylene film”.
2. Draw your model with a marker.
3. Squeeze the resin out of the bottle while steadily pressing it, following the desired pattern.
4. Keep the UV lamp lit at 1-2 cm [0,39”-0,78”] from the product for 2-5 minutes, directing the UV rays on the product.

If the product is thicker than 5 mm [0,19”], it is necessary to achieve the desired thickness by creating several layers. Each layer must be well dried before moving on to the next one.
If the product remains slightly sticky, keep exposing it to UV rays or to natural light in a dry and warm place for a few hours before it completely dries.

Please notice that the objects depicted in the photo are created with the help of “Fairy Wings” (the supporting structure of the fairy wings) and later decorated with transparent crystals.
We suggest to use the transparent epoxy resin in addition to the UV resin in order to obtain the transparent effect: the perfect match for this type of artwork.
